Why I Decided to Become a Barber.
Licensed Cosmetologist, and Dual Licensed Professional (DLP) student
I decide to become a Barber because I love this industry. Your clients are a walking billboard for you to show your artistic work. There is no limitation to what you can do as a Barber. Each day is a different adventure, not one client the same, giving you different challenges which makes it enjoyable. I love meeting new people and listening to the different stories each of them share and growing a bond with that client. I love the history of Barbering, it is very deep and not one profession can compare to the history of barbering and what it symbolizes. You get to help not only men but women, to feel and look their best. We as Barbers have the ability to completely change how someone feels about themselves and give them that extra boost of confidence they might have needed. Seeing a client leave happy and feeling good is a great feeling.
