As you know, trends always come and go. Some may linger year over year, but for the most part, you’re looking back at fashion from 10 years ago and laughing. That’s why it’s important to stay up to date on the latest trends. Watch out guys, these trends are sure to be a hit in 2018.

’90s Fashion

Flannels, denim, heavy boots, and even grunge tees are all coming back into style. Women’s trends are showing an increase in scrunchie use and the amount of chokers that are owned, so it’s time for you to dig out your fashion staples from 1990. Don’t be afraid to look back on fashion inspirations like the album covers or music videos from your favorite artists.

Casual Texture

Dress it up or mess it up for a casual style. Don’t bother with the way your hair looks by embracing a natural texture and style. Minimal effort->minimal worries. Buy one or two strong hold products, and your morning routine is made. This hair style totally plays into the ‘90s fashion statements, too.

Colored Hair

Fashion colors aren’t just for the ladies. Don’t be afraid to embrace your own version of mermaid hair. Blues, greens, yellows, and even pinks can help you make a statement and stand out. Don’t be afraid to express yourself and embrace your wild side. After all, hair grows back.

Old School Facial Hair

Use our Terms of Embeardment guide to find the perfect old school facial hair for you. Would you prefer the Ducktail or the Van Dyke? Whichever style you choose, embrace that facial hair and make sure it’s looking real sharp and clean.

Layers on layers on layers. Pile ‘em on. Don’t be afraid to wear a denim jacket layered over a denim shirt. Heck, why not wear denim overalls, too? Ever better, wear denim on denim and a black leather jacket. Mix and match cloth textures and patterns. An open flannel complements a basic grunge tee, and you can top it all off with a heavy windbreaker. Wear more!

The Wet Look

Like ladies’ fashion, the “wet” look is important this year. Slick back your locks with a wet gel and rock the “just-out-of-the-shower” look all day long. This style is also incredibly easy to do. This solid style will stay put all day long.

Bonus Trend?

Bleached tips. This trend is for the bold and the brave. Channel your ‘90s Justin Timberlake and ask your barber or hairstylist for this grunge-era style.
