I knew I wanted to be a hairstylist when I grew up because I felt the passion for it as a child. So when it came time to choose a school for my cosmetology education, I took tour around CHD East Campus. I immediately felt passion there. The new, clean, and open design of the school was also a nice touch! The educators are passionate about what they do and they care about each and every student’s career. Thanks to the Pivot Point program the College of Hair Design offers and the patience of my instructors, I learned a lot in a very short amount of time. CHD was inviting and exciting when I started school the first day, and it was just the same when I left on my graduation day.

It’s been over a year and half since I graduated and I’m now employed at Iasan and Sebastian Studio Salon as a level 2 stylist/makeup artist in Lincoln, NE. I very happily accepted my job at I?S salon a just a few short weeks after graduating and have been there since. I’m proud of my accomplishments in my career as a hairstylist so far and I’m so happy I chose College of Hair Design to help get me here!

I grew up loving fashion. It was always something I was passionate about. After working as a makeup artist for almost a year, I decided it was time to start hair school. I started at CHD in June, 2010. Back then, I never would have imagined how much the school and all of its instructors would impact me.

I graduated in August, 2011, and quickly landed my first job. Now, almost 5 years later, I am out on my own working for myself. I have been published in Wedding Essentials magazine for hair, and I am pursuing a lot of other opportunities to get myself out there.

It’s been a lot of hard work and determination along the way. The fact that I was able to make it this far in my career is largely due to everything I was taught at CHD. The instructors are more than great. They become your friend, mentor, and most of all, your “CHD family.”

I have taken more then just my knowledge from CHD. I have taken friendships and a forever-lasting family. When you can walk in years later and still get the same welcome as if you were just there yesterday, that is something very special to have.

I chose to attend The College of Hair Design because I loved the exciting, welcoming atmosphere. It looked like a place where learning was fun! While in both the Cosmetology and Esthetics programs, I loved getting to use the innovative Pivot Point curriculum. It made studying stress-free! Being able to learn by actually working hands-on with clients gave me a taste of what my career would eventually become. I am currently using both my licenses working at The JCP Salon by Instyle. I also use my esthetics license at Massage Envy where I am working as an Esthetician and also a facial event planner! I love my career that I received from College of Hair Design!

The decision to attend the College of Hair Design for esthetics was perfect for me. After researching several schools, I knew that College of Hair Design offered the most hours and the best course of study. The instructors have real life experience. They have their own salons, built clienteles, and sold their own products and services.  They also truly care about their students and want them to be successful. The school offers a beautiful spa environment to learn in. The classes are hands-on and the curriculum is outstanding. The small classes mean that everyone helps each other and I have lifelong friends because of it. I have successfully worked in a salon since graduating and I am proud to have attended College of Hair Design.

I chose to attend the College of Hair Design because I loved the atmosphere. From the second I walked into the school to the moment I graduated, the staff was fantastic. The College of Hair Design goes above and beyond to prepare you for all professional aspects of the industry. They keep up on trends and are constantly evolving. The Cosmetology program is fast and upbeat whereas the Esthetics program is very relaxing and informative. I came back to work at the College of Hair Design because I wanted to ensure that every student that stepped into the school would have the same, exponential experience that I had. I still enjoy every minute I spend here and continue to grow.

I chose CHD for many reasons. But the two most important ones are that they offered 150 advanced training and the upbeat, friendly, and professional atmosphere. The beauty of the school and helpful staff were just a plus! I enjoyed the extensive variety of education and the very knowledgeable instructors. The instructors help each student to ensure they understand and are comfortable with all the material and procedures. The experience and wonderful memories I gained in my short time there are irreplaceable. I’m dual licensed in cosmetology and esthetics working at Salon Mohvi & Spa. I absolutely love my job, which I personally thank the school for my training and touring the salon on a class trip! I couldn’t have done it without the amazing staff and advanced training I experienced at CHD and I wouldn’t change that for a second!

I chose The College of Hair Design because it fit me more as an individual and I had heard great things from other graduates. The instructors were really good at having one on one time if I wasn’t understanding something or struggled in an area. The best part was our monthly picks celebrations, where we got rewarded for services and service dollars! After my 14 months was over, the staff was so helpful with the next step on finding a job. Just having CHD on my résumé took me above all other potential hires. Now I’m working at my dream job at Sweet Jane a Salon and I couldn’t haev done it without my education at College of Hair Design!

“Our salon depends on our ability to recruit top quality stylist right out of school. The College of Hair Design’s commitment to developing highly skilled graduates with well balanced skill sets has been a most important asset to our business. Choosing to train with the College of Hair Design is so much more than just attending cosmetology school. It’s a solid first step in building a great career.”
